HOW TO LUBRICATE YOUR WATERPROOF DRYSUIT ZIPPER

YKK® WATERPROOF ZIPPERS – METAL TEETH

Rinse your zipper with fresh water after every dive. The easiest way to lubricate your zipper is to first close the zipper. Using DUI® ZipStick®, run the lubricant up one side of the zipper and down the other. Then open and close your zipper which helps to imbed the wax between the teeth of the zipper.

TiZIP® WATERPROOF ZIPPERS – PLASTIC

TiZip waterproof zippers require that only the top and inside of the zipper slide docking area be lubricated (you do NOT need to lubricate the zipper teeth).

Approximately every 10 dives, put DUI® ZipStick® on the top and inside of the zipper slide docking area only.

Be sure to completely close the zipper before you dive!
