NAVY DIVERS ACHIEVE MILESTONE IN KEY WEST

We want to congratulate Mobile Diving Salvage Units success on their pre-deployment training in Key West.

DUI has a long history working with the specialized needs of the United States Military and commercial divers in the demanding and often brutal ocean environments.  It takes a unique individual followed with dedication and hard work to achieve a  unit-level-training milestone.  We commend these fine individuals.

Mobile Dive Salvage Unite 2 is an expeditionary mobile unit homeported at Joint Expeditionary Base, Little Creek-Ft. Story in Virginia Beach, VA.  They previously conducted successful salvage operations supporting TWA Flight 800, Swiss Air Flight 111, the space shuttles Challenger and Columbia, the I-35W Mississippi River bridge collapse in Minnesota, the Civil War ironclads USS Monitor, CSS Georgia, and recovery of downed F-16Cs off the coast of Italy and Virginia.
